Snozz-cumbers, flowers, ferns and cherries

Aisulu

These big fruits are called Jack-fruit. To me they look like the snozz-cumbers out of the BFG, although they must taste completely different. When they are growing they look someone has hung them off the tree branches and we only realised that was not true when we went right up to one of the trees. Some of them can grow to the size of me crouching down, they are absolutely massive! They are quite spikey but I have seen people carry them on their heads.

i like this photo because the colour of the flower is very cheeful. I imagine Rosie would also like this flower because it is her favourite colour.

This plant is called Bourganvillia. The purple vegetation are leaves, in fact, not flowers. I think the real flowers are sprouting out of the purple leaves. This is one of my favourite flowers because i like the way there are 3 very bright colours put together, purple, green and yellow.

These beautiful coffee flowers that I saw at Kingsleys coffee farm will only flower for a few days.

I like this photo because it shows the coffee cherries at the stages. When I see them they make me think of Rosie.

Rosie and Aisulu

Aisulu - I found these flowers at Ishasha when the land around them had been burnt, but strangely they were the only plant on the burnt places. I think they are are very nice because it gives a burst of colour in to the brownish-black of the burnt place.
